On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), which included $1.5 billion for Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Programs (HPRP).  These funds are being distributed based on the Emergency Shelter Grants formula allocation.  The resources on this page will assist communities to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency in utilizing these programs to prevent, divert and rapidly re-house households.
